Texto retirado do livro do Bill Gates, The Road Ahead, que ele escreveu em 1995.
Nessa epoca nem tinhamos celular no Brasil.

Telehone systems are an example of how starting latte can provide an advantage. In Africa, China and other parts of the developing world, many citizens who have phones use cellular instruments. Cellular telephone service is spreading rapidly in Asia, Latin America, and other developing regions, because it does not require that copper wires be string. Many people in the cellular industries predict that improvements in technology will mean that these areas may never get a conventional copper wire-based telephone system. The wireless telephone system will be their first telephone system. They will get an increasingly better cellular system whenever they can’t afford a full broadband connection.
